Mayflowerians Shine at 7th National Text Recital Competition

Mayflower Secondary students excelled at the 7th National Text Recital Competition, winning first place in the group category and third in the individual category.

The 7th National Text Recital Competition witnessed outstanding performances from Mayflowerians, who showcased their exceptional skills in Chinese text recitation. This prestigious event, organized by the Committee to Promote Chinese Language Learning (CPCLL), Pei Hwa Presbyterian Primary School, and the Singapore Chinese Teachers Literary Recital Society, aims to enhance students' proficiency in Chinese and foster a deeper appreciation for the language's nuances, rhythm, and beauty.
In the Lower Secondary Individual category, Celeste Wong (2A) secured an impressive third place, demonstrating her remarkable dedication in learning the Chinese Language.
In the Lower Secondary Group category, Chia Pei En (2B), Luo Yafei (2D) and Tao Yixuan (2I) delivered a confident performance that helped them surpass other contestants and emerged champion! More importantly, they enjoyed the journey and the experience, highlighting the spirit of teamwork and camaraderie.
Mayflowerians' success at the competition underscores the school's commitment to developing each student to the best of their interests and abilities.
